What is FAMI-QS?
FAMI-QS is a quality and safety system for specialty feed ingredients and their mixtures. It minimises the risk of unsafe feed ingredients entering the feed and food chain and helps operators meet feed hygiene regulation such as Regulation (EC) No 183/2005.
Specialty feed ingredients cover feed additives and functional feed; their mixtures include premixtures, specialty complementary feed and complementary dietetic feed.
